Onboard Usb Wifi Problem
 
I have tryed for almost 24 hours now.
I have a toshiba satellite L40-14Y It have onboard wificard. But some how it is build in usb adapter.

This is output of lsusb:

Bus 007 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 006 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0bda:8197 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

But ive checked its a rtl8187b chipset.
Ive installed ndiswrapper with windrivers. It sais its installed.
Ndiswrapper -l net8187b : driver installed

but when i type ifconfig the only one that shows up is eth0 and lo
and not the usb wifi card....

Help badly wanted:-)

Hi,

If you want to see all that was recognized then use 'ifconfig -a'. Do a 'man ifconfig' to get a better understanding.
