Onboard soundcard driver

hi

Im trying to find some drivers for my SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio right now under Xp pro im using version 5.12.1.3581 of this driver. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get linux driver for this or what linux driver would be compatible. for example some basic soundblaster driver under windows but i know this isn't any suggestion would apperiated. I have already looks at soundMax.com and asus (my mobo) but thye only have win drivers

i have a sound max card in my pc

the support under linux is patchy and unstable

however

both redhat 8 and mandrake 9.1 seem to be able to handle it

my current distro (mandrake 9.1) is using the intel_i810 driver

this fails to load on about 50% of all boots, but a reboot usually sorts it out

well Im using the i875 chipset and using slackware 9.0 well ill see what I can find
