nvidia wireless and graphics

I read the post about the guy trying to get the nvidia drivers to work for his card. The part that struck me was that he got the card to actually work!

I got Mandriva linux to work on my OS and is completely installed. I am forced, however, to plug in wherever I go. What steps must I take so that the card is even found (if it isn't, I believe my model comes with a broadcom 801.11g wirelesscard)

I cannot get the video to work efficiently either.. That is because I have yet to install an nvidia driver for my graphics. Suggestions on that as well?

Model: HP dv6120se

That's a list of drivers and hardware for windows vista.

Thank you for the never-ending wisdom!

The command "lspci" will let you know if your card is detected.

You can either use the nv driver that comes with X, or download and install the proprietary driver from nvidia's website. If you want hardware acceleration and fancy eyecandy, ie. compiz, you'll need nvidia's driver.

Thanks a lot brian!

Edit: Doesn't work. What steps should I take for lspci to be found as a proper cmd?

Edit-Edit: OK, I smacked myself after I figured out why the code wouldn't work.

This is what I see. I don't see the wireless card, but I could be wrong. Do you see it?
