Nvidia RH8.0 driver problem on Dell 8100

Hello,
I can't seem to install the new Redhat 8.0 Nvidia drivers on my Dell 8100 notebook.

I have downloaded the following drivers:
NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4191.src.rpm
NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-4191.rh80up_2.4.18_18.8.0.i386.rpm

In other posts, people seem to do a rebuild on the NVIDIA_kernel file but this is only possible if it's a .src.rpm? And this is only the case with the NVIDIA_GLX file as you can see above?

I get a message that the driver can't find the nvidia kernel module and the following messages:

* Failed to load module "pex5" (module does not exist,0)
* Failed to load module "xie" (module does not exist,0)
* Failed to load module "glx" (module does not exist,0)
* NVIDIA(0): **Aborting**
* Screens found, but none have a usable configuration

I am using a XF86Config-4 file that was working with Redhat 7.3?

Any help greatly appreciated,

Regards
Nhasbek

you need the kernel source in /usr/src/linux

you then install the kernel rpm

then you should be able to build GLX

You could also download the tarballs, you will still need the kernel source files in /usr/src/linux
