Unhappy Nvidia problem in Slackware 8.1 pls hlp


Hello.
I have just install my Slackware and when i trying install NVIDIA-kernel, I have an error:

ld -r -o NVdriver Module-linux Module-Nvkernel
Module-Nvkernel: file not recognized: File truncated
make *** [NVdriver] Error 1

Pls help me.

Ok it's works. But I can't change resolutions, whatever i do it's always 640x480, I've configure my monitor and display in file xf86config, but it isn't working. Whenever I startx resolution is 640x480
Someone hlp me ?

How about a little "help yourself concept" - I know it stinks, and I might be not helpful at all, but there is a search button right there on the right upper corner, just sits there and waiting for you to press it and enter as keywords "resolution" "modes" "XF86Config" etc. A little hint: you should be after
Modes "1024x768" , etc.

Well if you know what resolution you want just edit your XF86-Config file and where the range of resolutions to use its just leave the one you want.
