nVidia MCP79 Ethernet on Debian Lenny

Hello everyone, I am new on this forum, I hope I stay for a long.

I am configuring a HTPC with Nvidia ION plataform hardware. I just configure everything except the ethernet card. This one:

Code:
00:0a.0 Ethernet controller: nVidia Corporation MCP79 Ethernet (rev b1)
On the board speficication put that is a "Gigabit Realtek RTL8211CL".

I read on forums and there is no answer for that. How I can see if that hardware is supported on my kernel? My kernel is 2.6.26-2.

I can plug a USB wifi card, but for streaming I need more bandwith than 54Mbps.

Can you help me please? I will apreciate.

Thanks for all.

I meant ignore my post. I had written something then I realized that it was incorrect. I couldn't delete my post so I removed what I had said and replaced it with those words. Those simple and yet so very misunderstood words.

I looked this up yesterday then I couldn't find the same information. I recall that this had something to do with the forcedeth driver. Sounds like a metal group. Force deth. Or forced eth. I prefer the former.
