Question problems with NVIDIA FX

i have fedora core runing on my system.. it has and AMD athlon XP 2800 processor with NVIDIA GEFORCE FX 5200...
i downloaded the driver and installed on my system.. but the problem is that it's not working and it always revert to the old file.. and overwriting the new one. i modified it again as per the instructions given.. but every time i reboot it goes back to the same old generic driver.. it's a problem here please help

Yarthing: try the steps listed in my thread named "Instructions for installing Nvidia driver on FC3". It worked on my GeForce FX5200 card. The thread is in the Distributions>Fedora Forum.
