nVIDIA GeFoerce 2 mx 400 on redhat 8.0


Hello,

I'm totaly confused, i don't know what graphical driver to install, because on nVidia site is so much drivers.

CPU: celeron 500 mhz
192mb RAM
GeForce 2 MX 400 32mb

Please help me what to do.

You need the IA32 package, IA32 stands for Intel Arch 32 bit, IA64 is Intel Arch 64 bit and AMD64 is AMD 64 bit.

ok i download NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336-pkg1.run, but i stuck. I don't know how to install it. The redme.txt is so large and i don't understand all instructions.

please help, write down quick commands

From the directory where you saved the file do "./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-5336-pkg1.run" (as root) and follow the prompts. You will have to read the README file as it contains important information on how to configure your card after the driver install.
