nVidia font hell...

ok, I have a dell XPS M1210 and I just installed fedora 8, after iinstall the first thing I did was install the nvidia driver from livna (kmod-nvidia and kmod-nvidia-%kernel_version%) for the geforce go 7400... after install I notices some rather disturbing font changes... they are all HUGE!!! I have already played with the fonts applet but I cant fix them... if I remove the livna driver it works fine... but then I loose 3d support and the colors are goofy... does anyone have a suggestion?
