NVIDIA conflict with Red Hat 9.0

Hello, I just recently installed Red Hat 9.0. I am not very good with linux. I have an Geforce 4200 TI video card and whenever i boot up with this card, my monitor shuts off automatically. I would like to install drivers that could potentially fix this, but alas, how can I do this when my monitor is off. Anyways, I recently installed a much older video card just so that I could get linux up and running. I was wondering if there was a way I could get and install drivers to correct this problem and if so where I can get them. Any other advice is much appreciated. By the way, I have an AMD chip if that at all relates to this problem.

thanks,

Danny Uhrman
