Nvidia card question NVIDIA GeForce 7025
Hi i want to buy some components to build a pc. I found a motherboard that has this video card integrated NVIDIA GeForce 7025 . I never used nvidia on linux so I have no idea how well supported is this card(i do not know how to search how well it works currently, I have cards that worked on older versions of Xorg and now do not work)
IS there a place were I can check if this card has video drivers from nvidia? and how good them work?
also the open source driver works with this cards?

I am not a gamer and I just want that compoziting, desktop effects would work on my display, (22 inch display at a larger resolution, 1200xsomething)

this is the motherboard Asrock N68-GE3-UCC

P.S. Or if someone could recommend a video card to buy ,it must be cheap ,and work on Linux for the next 3 years, (suport desktop effects, it could be using open source drivers, i like open source drivers, they work well on ATI ,but not all the time

This card is supported by the open source drivers in any recent distro. And it is also supported by the proprietary nVidia driver, so you should have no problem with that card.

Keep in mind that chipsets that old are not supported by VDPau, so no offloading video to the GPU.
