Now what??

How do I connect to the internet from Red Hat 8.0??
In 7.0 you go from "K" to internet-to kppp....and from there to connection...But on 8.0, I don't find my way to connect.
I've got a brand new US Robotic PCI internal modem recognized and configured (CONTROLLER, NOT WINMODEM!)
Everything works perfectly.
When I try to open kppp from the console it gives me an "unknown command (or something like that!)" outcome.
I have already configured the internet connection wizard and still can't find an icon or anything to make the connection.....As you probably have noticed by now I'm a totally newbie and English is not my native language so please don't go too techie!

If your in KDE, right click anywhere on the desktop, then enter a name for your shortcut, go to the execute tab, type in kppp hit okay.

This should place a link on your desktop, then double click you will have to enter your root password. Click on Setup.

Once in the setup tabs under the account tab add in your # to call for internet, then click the modem tab and query your modem, it should locate the modem. Hit Ok.

Now you should be setup for modem access.

Once you are connected click on the keys on the taskbar. Click forget authorization.

Good Luck
