novatel merlin PCMCIA adapt XCA 3

Is novatel merlin PCMCIA adapt XCA 3 supported by linux-kernel I'm using it with novatel merlin wireless card which is supported by the kernel/drivers/usb/serial/airprime what device file is used for it?
the manufacturer has a site about the modem but it explains it with the USB adapter

I made a kernel update and the card seemed to be detected
