Not able to install linux os on my intel D101 GCC.

hi.
First of all i should give my PC configuration.

Processor : intel P4 3.0 GHz.
Motherboard: intel D101 GGC
Chipset: ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Chipset
Video: Integrated ATI Radeon X300 based graphics
Memory: 2-512 MB DDR ram.
The problem i am facing is i am not able to install any Linux OS.
I have tried fedora core 5(both x86_64 and x86_32) and core 4,ubuntu 6(64 n 32 bit) red hat linux 9,suse linux 10,mandrake linux 10.the only thing which ran on my pc was knoppix 3.that also its performance was not that good ao i had to remove it.till today i thought there must be some hardware compatibility issue with D101 GGC.but i saw in this forum that some body has installed fedora core 4 in D101 GGC.can any one please help me what could be my problem? while installing i always get a message "kernel panic" for new versions and "processor not supported" for older ones.
everybody keep telling me to install new graphics driver first but how could i install graphics driver without installing linux os itslef.please help.if there is any thing i have left to mention, let me know.thanks in advance.

Trying the 64 bit version is pointless, as your Pentium 4 is a 32 bit processor and incapable of supporting software compiled for a 64 bit processor. This explains "processor not supported"

Let's stick with one distribution, let's say Fedora Core 5. Also make sure it's not a beta copy or something that you have.

Please describe in further detail the point at which you receive the "Kernel Panic" when you attempt the x86 (i386) distributions.

Does the disc boot? Do a any messages get displayed? Does it display "starting anaconda" or anything like that? What is displayed right before you see the kernel panic?

Ensure that you have the i386 flavor of a distribution before continuing.
