noob--sb16 pci won't work Redhat 9.0


My SB16 pci is detected by Redhat 9.0 as an Engsoniq 5880 Audio PCI. Needless to say, the SB16 isn't working. Absolute newbie, if anyone has any suggestions please be detailed. Here is the output of /sbin/lspci

issue the "lsmod" command to see what drivers are loaded.. you should see one for your sound card.

try running "/usr/bin/redhat-config-soundcard"

Got my sound working, turned of Plug and Pray in the BIOS and Redhat detected it properly. However, I have to use the sound config gui every time I reboot to get it to work. Minor issue, at least it works!
