Nokia USB modem causes kernel panic
I picked up a Nokia 6133 and got a CA-53 cable for it. After loading the
windows drivers that came with it, I'm able to talk to the 6133 using AT commands and I've sent and received sms messages with it. Having gotten that far, I plugged the USB cable into a Centos5 box, accepted "Nokia mode" for USB on the phone and then ka-blam, the kernel panics with the following in the message file: Code:
Mar 18 09:11:11 localhost kernel: usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2 before I plugged the USB in. The problem repeats and I've made two different machines do it. uname -r shows 2.6.18-53.1.14.el5 |
