I cannot seem to get my Ngage mounted under Mandrake. I tried:
"mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/ngage -t auto"

It gave me this error:
"mount: special device /dev/sda1 does not exist"

I have mounted the Ngage successfully on a computer running Fedora. However, on that PC I also use a USB hard disk which is pretty much always connected to a USB port and I always use that same USB port when connecting the Ngage - so I think Linux knows there is a device on /dev/sda1 on my Fedora PC.

Is there some sort of probing program I could use on Mandrake to detect particular USB devices?

Any other ideas?

EDIT: This Problem was solved - all I had to do was restart and mandrake detected and also mounted the Ngage. All I have to do now is edit fstab. Sorry.

Sorry to revive this old thread but if there are any Ngage users who hate restarting there computers to get the Ngage connected to linux try this script. It'll rescan the bus for any new devices.
