noisy server fan

Hi chaps, HNY!
I'm using a box as a server and every thing's lovely. Only problem is the noise as the fan is soooooo noisy! What can be done?
- replace the fan
- a new case with a (hopefully) silent fan
- take everything out of the case and place all of the components on a table

Well, fans are cheap; you could get one of the "silent" ones and throw it in the case very easily. Though if you intend to use this machine for the long haul, it might not be a bad idea to get a whole new case; with some more pleasing aesthetics and hopefully better design in regards to airflow and expandability.
