Noise in tv sound ouput

I have my pc connected to tv and pc. In the sound output to the tv there is a very irritating noise. I tried all setting in kmix to no avail. Who knows how I can fix this?

hey there erpe,

I'm sorry but I don't think I quite get what your current issue is. Could you please rephrase your question?

I have my pc connected to tv and pc --> do you mean you have your pc set up for dual-view? A CRT/LCD monitor and your actual TV?

thanks

Yes I have set it up for dual-view (that was the word I was searching for)

ah ok, well it sounds like your dual-view set up is working, you're getting video on both of the devices. So you're having trouble with the sound hm..

I also have set up dual-view (actually it's called twin-view, that's what I have set up). The way I solved the sound problem is by having decent speakers by the TV, which are connected to my system's Soundblaster Live Card - sort of with extension audio cables...let me know what you think about that...
