No video&sound in pinnacle pctv stereo card in slackware12 after kernel upgrade

i have a pinnacle pctv stereo pci tvtuner (Saa7134) card in pci slot of my system. it worked when i had done fresh install of slackware12, but after i had done a kernel upgrade there is no video and audio in tvtime. when i run tvtime-scanner --norm=PAL it detects signals and stores the channels but no response in tvtime i tried changing all options but no use. the card works good in windows i could not figure out why it creates problem in linux, but i can see the card gets detected during booting with no errors and when i modprobe saa7134 i get no errors. can't understand what the problem is.
