No sound to headphones - Slack 10, Santa Cruz soundcard
 
I'm a new Linux user running Slack 10 on a Dell Dimension 8200. My external speakers plugged into the back are working fine, but there is no sound going to the headphone jack in the front of the pc.

I've been using this on Windows, so there's no hardware issue. As far as I'm aware, I've turned up the volumes of all necessary components (master, pcm, headphone, etc, etc,).

Any ideas?

You're using ALSA, I presume.... Which mixer app are you using?
