No sound, Sound blaster X-Fi running Linux Mint 17.2 cinnamon

Hello! I made a similar post on Mint forums but no replies in a day so I try here!

My system detects my card Sound Blaster X-Fi (§inxi -Fxz):

When I click on sound options menu I have two boxes: Analog output and digital output, when I click the digital one it makes a "chip" sound for a millisecond.

I have googled around but everyone has this card working, its supported on linux mint hardware support as "working perfectly". I tried alsamixer, unmuted everything but no luck. My system is updated.

I haven't used Linux in a while because of gaming, but I am ready to give it a try again but as always there is something :d

Where do I go from here? Thanks!

Have you tried running amixer to verify nothing important is muted?

Lol, OK I fixed it, kinda, I have this device that is connected to the soundjack and you gotta turn it on (LOL). But I use headphone and I used the front soundjacks/microphone of my computer instead, so they dont work but I have sound at least so everything works now. nice..I'm...I'm cool.

Hi.

Since you have a dedicated sound card could you tell me if you notice a cracking noise when you move the volume slider near the top?

Thanks.

Nop, no cracking noise, the only cracking noise is when Mint boots up and when I switch from analog output (the one that works) to digital output (doesnt work).

Well I'll manage to live without the external output on my computerbox, probably will work if I unplug everything else but oh well xd
