I am getting an error that device dev/dsp dosen't exist. I just recently was tinkering around in my modules.conf file trying to get mt microphone working with skype. When I saw that the sound server wasn't working, I ran alsaconfig and it seemed to work okay, but when I restarted to see if it really had fixed the problem, it gave me the same thing. So, could someone please help me with this problem?
ps: I'me pretty sure that my system uses a variety of diffrent sound servers including OSS, ALSA etc. if that's any help.
