No Sound


HI im not getting any sound at all from my speakers im using ubuntu.

wen i type "uname -r" the result is 2.6.20-16-generic
oh im new to linux so i may not know wat certain commands r an stuff.

Use the following command and see if snd-hda-intel is enabled as module.

command:

lsmod

then check for snd-hda-intel

hi,, i tried updating somemore and when i restarted the computer the volume was workin,, but thanks for ur help.
