no screen i810 module

Please help me;

I have a p4 1.8 ghz with an integrated intel graphics card

Knoppix boots fine, and loads up with i830 and agpgart.

Debian doesnt, and I get this error when trying to load X
(II) Module mouse: vendor="The XFree86 Project"
compiled for 4.1.0.1, module version = 1.0.0
Module class: XFree86 XInput Driver
ABI class: XFree86 XInput driver, version 0.2
(II) I810: Driver for Intel i810 chipset: i810, i810-dc100, i810e, i815
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 00:02:0
(--) Assigning device section with no busID to primary device
(EE) No devices detected.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

Please help, and I have tried removing X11config-4 and trying startx

thanks

I should also add that when I modprobe agpgart i get :
newman:/usr/X11R6/bin# modprobe agpgart
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/char/agp/agpgart.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/char/agp/agpgart.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/char/agp/agpgart.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/char/agp/agpgart.o: insmod agpgart failed

___
dmesg returns :
Linux agpgart interface v0.99 (c) Jeff Hartmann
agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 196M
agpgart: no supported devices found.

__
I also tried the newest Xfree86(4.3.99) and included a i810_drv.o module from the xfree86 website
that didnt work, and lspci says

00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corp. 82845G/GL [Brookdale-G] Chipset Host Bridge (rev 01)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corp. 82845G/GL [Brookdale-G] Chipset Integrated Graphics Device (rev 01)

Thanks for all the help
