no device node for Promise SATA300 TX4

Hi guys,

I've recently bought the Promise SATA300 TX4 to connect a sata drive to an old mobo.
I've attached the PCI device and I've compiled support for the device into the kernel.
But i'm having issues getting it to work. This is the output of dmesg. For some reason he's not giving me a device name. I've tried to cfdisk a few nodes but no luck. Anyone had the same issue?

Thanks.

A couple of ideas:
1)run gparted, will show all disks
2)run a live distro e.g. knoppix to detect all disks
And when you find the devicename (sdax ?), you will probably
have to add it to /etc/fstab
