No 3d for old MGA G200EH [102b:0533]?

I have a HP microserver, HP release MGA drivers for "newest" Windows system like server2008 but not for Linux.
As I know G200 is really old card(why HP don't use a Intel integrated vga??), and I think was supported by Linux glxinfo give me

Code:
glxinfo |grep -i direct
direct rendering: Yes
and

Code:
glxinfo |grep -i acce
    Accelerated: no
I have tried some 3d application like mame and 3d seem disabled.
No 3d for this card? The Matrox driver from official site are from 2006..I don't think they compile with a 2020 distro.

Wikipedia seems to show. it as 3D capable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrox_G200

Are there drivers available for it and have you installed them?

In cases where "available with OS" is stated, the operating system will install a Matrox driver that will give you basic 2D and 3D functionality.

As I understand it, that's an 'integrated' or 'embedded' version of the Matrox G200 (which is very old) - designed specifically for servers and other embedded appliances. I've never seen one of those running 3D - most of them tend to be there for (very) basic VGA functionality (like CLI or not much more than that), usually on rack mounted machines or similar (and often only have a few MB of memory at most). It probably lacks an Intel IGP because the CPU(s) don't have them (many Xeons do not have IGPU), and from memory none of the Intel server chipsets have IGP. If this machine has a PCI or PCIe slot you could add something substantially faster/better for 3D for very cheap - even el cheapo second-hand entry-level Radeons (the kind you usually find for $5-10 on fleabay) will be probably order(s) of magnitude improvement.
