Question No 32bit colour

HI,

I'm quite new to linux, I have managed to get most of my favourite games to work in linux, which was stopping me from moving from windows.

I have a problem in that some of my games require 32bit colour to run. Yet, when I try to run in 32bit colour I get the following message:

(II) Setting vga for screen 0.
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Given color depth (32) is not supported
(EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting ***
(II) UnloadModule: "nvidia"
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

The error says that 32 is not support, yet it works in "Bill's" product.

Can anyone help?
