NIC driver

It has been a while since I did a Linux install. I just built a new box and want to install Debian on it. I usually use the "Woody" branch but it does not detect my gigabit ethernet card (intel 875p chipset). Will Sarge be able to detect it? If not how do I get a working driver with such a minimal system?
