NIC Card Detection
 Ok i have an E-Machine complete computer package deal. I have installation cd's that came with the computer also, that contain the drivers for my computer also. The orginal system of Windows XP Home. Now i'm running a dual boot with Windows XP Professional and RedHat Linux 9. I can easily load the drivers on the Windows Partition. I would have to load the drivers manually though by going through the device manager. But when i boot into Red Hat all the other drivers work except for my nic card. So i go into the termianl and do a su-, and my password. Then i do and ifconfig and only my loopback address is present. My eth0 doesn't even come up. So i go into the network devices menu and try to find the model of my nic in there but no success. My ? is with me having to the installation cd's that hold my drivers on there. Would that possibily be my problem as to why my nic driver isn't installing onto redhat? Also is there anyway i could load the drivers onto my linux partition when i'm using Linux. Or possibily even loading them onto a jump drive and going from there. I really need some help on this one, cause i really have no idea on what i'm doing when it comes to linux. Thanks
