Hey! i'm planning on installing slackware this weekend 08-16-03. what network card should i buy. is realtek works with slackware. i know it works with redhat, mandrake, lycoris, and college linux. I'm currently using CL as my server/router.
realtek cards are about the most generic cards you can get, i'd say go with them every single time without fail.... 8139 chipset running with the 8139too driver.
support for things like this really aren't distro based... it's part of the kernel whichis common to all distros.
