I'm running Debian Sarge on an Asus A7N8X-E with the NForce2 chipset, and I've configured ALSA via alsaconf to recognize my sound as an Intel 810/8x0. It kind of works, but it isn't quite right, the sound being very quiet. Running any ALSA-oriented mixer (such as alsamixer or alsamixergui) outputs
