Exclamation Newbie with driver issues ...

Hello all! I am new to Linux, thus I went with what I have heard is the easiest to use/learn distro, Suse 9.1.

I installed it on top of Windows XP and everything went great, the system boots fine and loads fine however, some of the drivers for my devices did not load properly, specifically for my Biostar M7VIT Pro motherboard, AMD Athlon 2600 processor and VIA KT400 chipset. (At least that is what Suse says) Also, I cannot use a USB keyboard at startup otherwise I am forced to enter Suse because I have no input.

I guess I am wondering what solutions are there to my hardware issues if any? Is there a resource I can use to get drivers? Does anyone happen to know where I can get the specific drivers I need? Should I care about these issues if my system is working?

Many thanx. I apologize in advance for my extreme Linux ignorance.

Nicky Batts

P.S. - Are there any wireless G adapters compatible with Suse?

I have a 2500+ and a KT 400 Gigabyte board with no problems, using ps/2 though instead.. but everything works fine usb-wise according to startup. But I'm running Debian sarge, mandrake 10 and Slackware 9.1.
