Thumbs down Newbie Help On Sata

Hi, ive been having trouble installing my new RedHat 10 Fedora. When I begin to install, it tells me that no devices were found! I searched for a driver for my SATA, and there were none to be found. Can anyone help me get this thing started?

Thanks everyone

Fedora Core could really support SATA
I am using a seagate SATA and Intel 848 chipset, all works very well

In the bios setting, change the IDE mode to "legacy mode" and turn on the support for both SATA&PATA( or PATA only) in order to let Fodera core find your HD during the installation

Then boot you machine and install Fedora Core.

After Fedora core is installed, you can change the IDE mode to "Native Mode"

Wish you a good luck.
