Several things leap out at me:

You have posted in a part of the forum reserved for Introductions - where you say 'hi' and tell us a few things about yourself.

Your question tells us nothing. What modem is it - there are lots out there - what error messages are you seeing - how have you tried to use it?

Your thread title is extremely unhelpful. It's fine if this was an introduction, but as a preamble to a hardware question it tells us nothing.

Could you please reply with:
the modem model
what you have done to try to get it to work
what error messages do you see

Hello,
I've just moved the thread to Linux - Hardware, it fits better here.

justinbm, please post the specs of your winmodem. WIthout it it's nearly impossible to help.
