New Red Hat Enterprise 5 v3 install - Not Seeing RAID 1

I have a HP Proliant DL120 G6 with onboard sata RAID.

I have configured my raid, downloaded the controller drivers off hp, I go to install the OS, Everything looks fine, till you setup your drives. It shows two hard drives instead of just one.

I can not for the life of me figure this one out.

ANY HELP PLEASE!!!

Just to clarify: you went into the RAID controller's BIOS, and set up (and initialized) the array, right? If so, the controller may be doing 'fake' RAID, hence the drivers needed.

Two things spring to mind. First, you could remove one of the drives, do the install to the single drive, and get the controller drivers loaded. Then, when the other drive gets back into the array, it should 'mirror' back over.

Second, and don't mean this to sound nasty, but if you're using RHEL, have you called them for support? You are paying for it, and they should be able to help you. Ditto for HP
