New Nvidia Drivers buggy?

I have several problem with the all new Nvidia drivers (1.0-4191).
-No game can be started. It crash while trying to start OpenGL.
-I can't start more than one X without problem (the second one may not appears, sometime I need to switch to text then to switch back to x to see something, sometime the display is horrible, thousand of black lign are visible)
-OpenGL Screensaver often freeze, forcing me to restart X. Sometime X crash when starting an OpenGL screensaver.

I switched back to the last version of these drivers (1.0-3123) and everything is working fine.

I just want to know if I am the only one to have problem with these new drivers... in that case I will try to find the problem.
But if someone else have similar problem I will conclude these drivers are buggy, probably because their source are closed, and so can't be bug free

No one... but I have not searched very hard for it. I have no error msg to the kernel log, or to the XFree log. I don't know if drivers should log somewhere else.

If I try to start Quake3 or Unreal, it crash without error msg. The last msg is "OpenGL".
I suppose there is something very bad in the GLX modules, but don't know what.

I have to go for now, tonight, I will reinstall the 1.0-4191 drivers and give you a real error output msg.

What is your hardware setup?

Did you load both the Kernel AND the GLX files if you used the RPMs?
did the release numbers match on BOTH files?
I am no guru, just having a similar problem, except mine is a hardware incompatiblity issue, with no known workaround-yet...

If you have Mesa openGL it will conflict with the Nvidia openGL, you can use nv_check to see if thats the problem, also there is the q3 faq that might help.
