Angry new mother board new problems


peace,
since i installed a new mother board (ABIT kd7a), i havent been able to mount my floppy drives properly( 1 is USB). the message is , input/output error. they mount sort of,
via a vfat file that i havent been able to access with the list command, etc.
i'm running redhat 9.0.
any suggestions??

Peace,
Take a look at the 'dmesg' output and see what it is telling you about the floppy drives. Then, look at your /etc/fstab file and see if things 'agree'.
If not, adapt the /etc/fstab to reflect the correct hardward devices to be mounted. The USB one may be tricky. Search on this site about USB drives and you see a bunch of examples on permissions, mount point, etc.
