Talking new monitor

This isn't a cry for help, but an endorsement. I got a new monitor today, a Samsung Syncmaster 753DF ($179 CDN at A-Power Computers, Richmond BC). What a great new toy. The picture is crystal clear, it is nice and bright, and is just generally amazing.

What's more, it set up without a single problem in RH9. I didn't even have to edit my XF86Config file. I just went to my display settings, told Red Hat to do a probe and it got the correct refresh rate and everything. No problems at all.

I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive flatscreen CRT.

I noticed another thread by me with the same title as this was closed, so I could not respond there:

anyway, sorry for the double-post-- I did not do it intentionally. I am not sure how it happened, actually.

You sometimes get it when there is a delay in the server response and if you click the submit button more than once while waiting.
