that's the lspci...
with ubuntu 7.04 (fiesty fawn) the built in sound card works well (just a little quiet, even the onboard pc speaker makes the drumming noises when not muted)
anyway. i'm new to linux, so I'm looking for a how-to as far as installing sound drivers so i can listen to music on this training box. Is the sound chip listed there or when hardware isn't detected is it omitted from the lspci command (do i need to take a flashlight to the motherboard to see what chip it is?)
thanks in advance for the help.
