Question Network Config in SuSE 6.4

I just got SuSe 6.4, and I am configuring it on some old Dell's to run a small webserver. The first time I installed SuSE, I was able to configure the network acess at install time, and by the time I had finished the install, I could browse the web and check my email. That was a week ago. Now, due to technical reasons, I had to reinstall SuSE, but when I installed it the second time my network was down, so I couldnt configure it. Once the net came back up, I tried to set it up with Yast, but at startup I get the message saying that device eth0 does not exist. I wouold rather not have to reinstall SuSE again just to get my internet working, so what can I do?

Thank you in advance,
LBB
