Question network adapter

My network adapter isnt working. I just installed Red Hat 7.3 on a p2 350mghtz machine. I wonder if I need a driver for it. I tried looking for netware because that is what's on the card, but I did not find anything about network cards. I do not know much about it. It was given to me. I do know that it is not a pci nic card. It plugs into ISA. Here are a few pictures of it. picture1 picture2 picture3 picture4 or try downloading them from because my bandwidth exceeded. Try looking here Can anyone help? Will this device run under Linux? I have searched for it, but I am not even sure what to search for.

Nice pictures! I think I also used a NIC with 'YES' written on it years ago. It is not clear to me what the chip is. NE2000 was very popular around then, especially for nameless clones. There is a list of card types of about this vintage at:

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...-ethernet.html

along with the various drivers. A good source of information - bit out of date but that should suit your situation - is the Ethernet HOWTO

http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/doc...net-HOWTO.html

Basically you need to figure out which driver you want and load it with the correct parameters for things like io,irq and dma numbers and addresses (see the HOWTO). It also looks like you can jumper the card to PnP mode which might make things easier - I don't know. Check out the diagnostic programs in the HOWTO also.
