Hey all,
As per usual rather new to linux. Been a rather indepth computer user for about 18 years though, and decided to make the switch to Linux.

Created a frankenstein box outta some parts I had laying around,

533MHz X86
IDE Chan 1 master-7GB
IDE Chan 2 slave-2.1GB HD

IDE Can 2 slave-ZIP DRIVE
IDE Chan 2 master-CDROM


My Linux Install (PHLAK, Based on the Debian 2.6.9 Kernel)
installed and is running fine.
However when I try to install a Netgear FA311 Rev -C1, my computer wont reboot, no signal to the monitor, nothin....

Any ideas?

I take the card out and everything boots again and is fine and dandy...

I'm stumped.

Liam-

Could have a hardware problem on the card.
Could have an IRQ conflict.
Try disabling Plug in Play in the BIOS and switching PCI card slots.
