NETGEAR A6200 802.11ac WiFi Adapter -- Disk Installation problems.
Yesterday, I spent 76$ on a WiFi adapter from netgear, as im around 30ft away from my Router. It came with a Disk. Ubuntu opened all files on the disk... Would not run what-so-ever. Just opens a folder with 2 .exe files. Its says is compatible with windows, but it did not say ONLY compatible with windows. Any way I can change the files on it to make the CD-ROM compatible / anyway I can get an Ubuntu installer?
EDIT: I haven't seen any other fourm posts on the matter... possibility because of newness? -- Is this the right place to post this? |
Also...
Along with this, my mother bought the NETGEAR R6300 WiFi Router...
Shouldn't make too much of a difference accept for compatibility w/ the router... EDIT: If I happen to find a solution, I will provide it to the LQ community, as everything that NETGEAR produces is licenced by the GNU Public Licence! (Will also put it on a Netgear-Based Forum.) |
