Neodio 7 in 1 Card Reader

Hi all,

I have a card reader in the front of this pc which is listed as
Code:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0aec:3260 Neodio Technologies Corp. 7-in-1 Card Reader
If I plug a memory card in the front of it, a LED lights up, but it doens't get listed in fidks -l or any of the /dev/sd*.

I've tried Duckduckgoing and only found threads dating back to the 2005 era, where by the fix was 'coming up in the next kernal update'. I'm using 3.2.0-3 so I'd kind of hope if it was due to arrive in 2005, it'd be in by now.

Any ideas on how I might be able to fix it?

Thanks

How large are the cards, and are they SDHC?

Also,... Look here;
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ux/+bug/129597

Note: I have a device that's either the same or similar. Mine cannot read SD cards over 2GB in size... Other formats are fine,... I can regularly use Compact Flash drives of 4GB.

I believe they are SDHC and they're 32GB and 16GB.

Try a different type of card (compact flash or xd, for example), or try an SD card od 2 GB or less...

Do they work?

I'll have to go on a hunt for more memory cards. I'll report back if I find them.
