I have always used the serial port but my new computer does not have one. I have seen a usb to serial connector but looking (well I just looked on radio shack as it is in the neighborhood)around only see a cable that says it will work on windows. so what do I need to connect via usb and where can I get it? thanks...
I've used the RadioShack USB to serial adapter sucessfully. It works great with Knoppix but have not checked it with Fedora. The RadioShack adapter uses the pl2303 module.
