Need cheap linux box Need mobo

Need a mobo with on-board video that supports linux. skt 754.. just fully supported.

I'm building Beowulf cluster of Linux machines runing Rocks cluster. These machine will strictly be used as a slave mode. After initial configuration, it won't even have a keyboard or monitor connected to it. Strictly number crunching with custom modeling software.

Anyway heres what I have so far
8-A643000 skt 754 retail boxed $140
8- I-STAR 2U Rackmount Server Chassis (Black) With I-Star 350W PSU -$197
8- Crucail PC3200 256 MB ram $36
8- SAMSUNG 40GB 7200RPM $45
*8 - skt 754 mobo with on-board video and network????

Any ideas for full Linux support?

ASUS "K8S-MX" SiS 760GX Chipset is sounding good at $80? But will it work?

Hi, everything seems allright to me, but the mainboard.

I'm also looking for some feedback about these SiS 760GX onboard video MB, and have populated the HCL with Asrock K8Upgrade-760GX, AOpen S760GXm-S, ECS/Elitegroup 760GX-M, and Foxconn Winfast 760GXK8MB-ERS so far.

HCL shows ASUS A7S8X-MX (8-9/10) & Asus A7V8X-MX SE (7/10), why don't you add this model to the HCL ?

Hi zebo,
i want to do the same too! Build a 3-node cluster with micro-atx.
I am between "MSI k8mm-ilsrb" and "ASUS k8s-mx". Looking for hours in Google i haven't managed to find a clear answer. Problems with sata and graphics for msi and someone reporting that asus is unstable.
Have things changed since January? Has anybody tried anything with these motherboards?
Thanks
