Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Need advice regarding Watchguard Firebox, or other VPN ready routers

There is a third party trying to sell us on Watchguard
products. I have seen many IPSEC/PPTP VPN routers that
claim to enable VPN, and I am wondering why any of
Watchguards products are worth the extra money and
aggravation of licensing schemes. The Firebox licensing, in my opinion, is ridiculous. It just looks
to me like a company trying to nickel and dime you to death. If I can avoid all of that nonsense, I will.

Here is our situation :
One Slackware server in Orlando, Fl
One Slackware server in Atlanta, GA
Both subnets will have Windows XP computers on the
respective LAN's.

The Linux servers will need to be able to serve up the
company directories via VPN to remote XP computers. The
setup will also have to support road warriors.

What are some suitable hardware solutions (routers) that will make this a reality?
