Native Linux driver for Wireless USB dongle 0d8e:3763

Hello. My first post here.....still new to Linux

I am trying to find a native Linux driver for the above USB device: VendorID 0d8e ProductID 3763. I tried googling with no joy. The dongle came with Windoze drivers (PRISMA02.INF & PRISMA02.SYS). Looking at these driver names, I presumed that the device has the PRISM chipset and that I could use hostap to setup the device.

But, now I'm confused. There are PRISM 2/2.5/3 drivers. Which one do I use? If I use ndiswrapper, I may not be able to use hostap. Given the Vendor/Product IDs, I'm unable to trace the OEM to get specifications on this device.

Any help in assisting me in getting an AP setup using this device is much appreciated.

TIA

have you tried http://prism54.org/newdrivers.html ?

Prism54 lists 0D8E:3762: DLink DWL-G120 Cohiba:GW3887.

I would imagine that you have a good chance of 0D8E:3763 working.

Never had any luck with prism54, resorted to using ndiswrapper. So, no hostap for me
