Hi all,

I've got an USB mouse on my laptop (MS intellimouse optical) with KDE, but the speed of my mouse is too fast for me.

In KDE 3.2, I put 1.0x for pointer acceleration, that didn't change anything : my mouse is still too fast.

I tried to change the Resolution Option in XF86Config and that didn't change anything too.

I tried xset m 0 and xset m 1 and my mouse cursor is still too fast for me
(a lot faster than on my win 2k system installed on another partition on the same computer).

I don't understand.

What can I try to do ?

i have kde 3.2 too also... just compiled 2.6.3 kernel.........and it seems my mouse pointer speed is outrageously fast too....its not really horrible but...its hard to deal with.....so maybe its kde :-/ my mouse is ps/2
